Vintage Rambler Refresh
John Colaneri
Designer, TV personality and owner of Lilyshea Development LLC, John Colaneri, tackled the remodel of his own home. Colaneri and his wife, Jennifer, purchased a vintage 1960s-era rambler in New Jersey with the intention of taking it down to the studs and remaking it.
He collaborated with Renewal by Andersen to refresh the windows in the space and worked with Andersen to install the doors in the home.
Front Entry
When choosing materials, Colaneri blended old with new, incorporating natural wood to add warmth and character to the space.
His custom wood door acts as both an accent and an anchor, creating a focal point for the eye and grounding mixed materials with its natural finish.

Colaneri’s A-Series inswing patio door works with the newly installed skylights to create a bright and airy feel in the space and offers contrast to the white shiplap walls.
