Environmental Product Declaration

An Environmental Product Declaration® (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the lifecycle environmental impact of products.
The environmental impacts are evaluated through a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which is a technique to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product's life. Impact categories include greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, ozone depletion potential, waste generated, and many others.
